At Gausta Skisenter in the heart of Telemark you can experience alpine skiing in the mountains where it was born. Without compromises and long queues to the lifts. With 35 slopes, three children areas, two snow parks and challenging off-piste opportunities Gausta offers something for skiers at all levels.
New Gausta Skisenter is the merger of Gaustablikk Skisenter and Gaustatoppen Skisenter. With the two lift systems maintained by the same organization, ambitions are higher than ever before. The slopes are now better connected and snow production has been substantially improved.
The lift system stretches from Vatnedalen via Gaustablikk, Hovdestaul and the slopes of Gaustatopen. Add Gaustabanen and the opportunities to take the train all the way up to Gaustatoppen and you will find a vertical drop and challenging skiing that’s hard to find north of the Alps. No matter if you prefer the varied black and red pistes at Gaustablikk, the smooth blue and green slopes for sweet carving at Hovdestaul or off-piste adventures from the top you will find a challenge that suits you.
