Why you should buy a season pass at Gausta Skisenter this year

A season pass at Gausta Skisenter includes the use of 13 lifts and 35 slopes, free evening skiing, 50 % discount on ski school, and discount on ski rental, products from the Gausta Collection, and photo art with motifs from the Gausta area. As of this year, anyone buying a season pass also gets one free day pass giveaway!

A season pass is often the best choice for anyone who lives or has a holiday cabin in the local area. This year the season pass will offer more added value than ever. If you haven’t bought one yet, it’s time to do so now!

Here we list the 9 best reasons for buying a season pass at Gausta Skisenter this winter:

1. Plenty of skiing for your money

Clearly the most important (and most obvious) reason for buying a season pass is the skiing. With a season pass you can do plenty of skiing. As much as you like, in fact. But remember to buy your season pass before the season starts so that you really get the opportunity to use the system for as many days as possible. As you may know, the golden rule for buying season passes is “the sooner, the better”!

Gausta Skisenter comprises 13 lifts och 35 slopes in various lengths and levels of difficulty. It also includes two children areas and two snow parks. See open lifts and slopes in our interactive ski map. If you want to go off-piste skiing at Gaustatoppen and are going with the Gaustabanen train, you will need to buy a separate ticket.

2. 50 % discount on ski school

Anyone who buys a season pass this winter gets a 50% discount on ski school. Not bad! The offer applies only for group lessons. Contact the ski rental at Gaustablikk or email us at to book or to find out more.

3. Free day pass giveaway

All season passes include the option to give away a free day pass. Ideal for your partner, relative, friend or colleague, or someone else you like a lot. After all, getting the chance to try out world-class skiing surely has to be the best gift you can get?

The offer is valid for the same ski pass type: if you have a season pass for adults, you can give away one adult day pass for free. If you have a youth or senior season pass, you can give away one youth or senior day pass for free.

To take advantage of the offer: state that you have a season pass for the staff in the ski rental next to Gaustablikk. Be prepared to show your season pass and valid identification.

All season tickets include the option of giving away a free day pass to someone you like.

4. Test ride Gausta’s own skis

This winter you can try out the specially designed Gausta skis for free! Enjoy wonderful carving turns in corduroy pistes or take the skis out for the season’s best powder adventure.

Gausta skis are available from the ski rental in the centre of Gausta. Contact staff to find out when the skis are next available for a test ski. (As a season pass holder, you will get first priority.)

5. Evening skiing and morning skiing included

As of this year, evening skiing is included with all the season passes. This means skiing until 8 pm on selected days. From the 1st of February, we will increase the opening hours with early morning skiing, every Saturday from 8 am to 10 am. Quite simply, even more skiing for your money!
