Norwegian authorities will keep Gausta closed over Easter due to the coronavirus, after a government decision on the 24th of March. The shutdown includes the ski centre/Gaustabanen, all commercial accommodation, restaurants and service facilities.

What happens after Easter depends on what decisions the Norwegian authorities make regarding the coronavirus and COVID-19. Right now, our focus is to reduce the spread and win the battle over the coronavirus.

We kindly ask all guests and cabin owners to stay updated about the current situation on the Norwegian Institute of Public Health’s website and see in-depth travel advice on Helse Norge’s website.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our beautiful mountain, and hope you and your loved ones stay healthy. Take care of yourselves and each other. ❤️
