Den Lykkelige Sportsmann (“the happy sportsman”), that’s the name of Gausta’s popular bar and après-ski in the eastern part of Gausta Skisenter. Situated right on the slope, overlooking Gaustatoppen, it’s designed for feelgood moments. Just get out of those skis, get a seat and you’ll be a very happy sportsman indeed.

The Loft is the name of the brand new Gausta après-ski concept. On the top floor above Gausta Food Court, you will find this cozy bar with a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on. With great drafts on tap, dartboards, and screens showing winter sports there is always a good time to be had at the Loft. But just wait till the live music kicks off at the weekends.
Situated right at the bottom of the slope at Hovdestaul, entering Bygget is very much like crossing the finish line. Finally! Come in for lunch, for a hot drink or for summing up a great day of skiing over dinner and a few drinks. For the season 2019/2020, Bygget is run by a new enthusiastic team promising an interesting new menu! Don’t miss it.
