It doesn’t matter whether you are an absolute beginner on the slopes, or a skilled skier who wants to refine your technique even further – we’re here to help! The experienced instructors in our Ski & Snowboarding School will make learning make training fun for all ages, and will help youngsters and adults alike take their skiing and snowboarding skills to the next level.

Opening hours

From season opening until 18 December, it is only available with private lessons/groups. From 18 December group lessons are open.

Tips:

  • Spaces are limited within the Ski and Snowboard School. To avoid disappointment, book your space early.

  • Make sure that you have a valid lift pass and have picked up your equipment before the first lesson starts, so we can hit the slopes immediately!

  • If you have any particular requirements, for example in case of disabilities, please notify us in advance when booking.

  • Gausta reserves the right to merge groups or offer other product options if there are three or fewer students.

  • Choose the right level at the ski school. Here’s an overview of the different levels.

Choose the right level

Here you will find a quick and easy overview for how to choose the right level at the ski school for you or your child.

Meeting places

The ski school’s meeting places are in the Gaustablikk area, right in the heart of Gausta.

Meeting point 1

Meeting point 1 can be found on the right side of Barnheisen (lift L). It applies to the following ages and levels:

4-6 yrs Level 1 – 1, 5
7-9 yrs Level 1
10-12 yrs Level 1
Adults Level 1 -2
Snowboard Level 1 – 2

 

Meeting point 2

Meeting point 2 can be found on the left side of Skipsheisen (lift B). It applies to the following ages and levels:

7- 9 yrs Level 2 – 5
10 – 12 yrs Level 2 – 5
