New keycard rules for children

Children aged 0-7 no longer need a keycard to Gausta Skisenter this season.

It has come to our attention that many people have misused the keycards at Gausta Skisenter by buying keycards for children instead of keycards and ski passes for adults/youths. Therefore, children between 0-7 years are allowed to ride without a keycard this winter season (2020-2021).

There will be a separate gate to the lifts for children as soon as the covid-19 restrictions make this possible to implement.

At the moment, we can not have a seperate queue for children 0-7 years, which means that you as an adult need to accompany your child through the gate to the lift. This is easily done by bringing your child in front of you before you pass the gate.

This is implemented in several of the largest Norwegian ski resorts, and positive experiences of queue prevention are reported.

We will inform you when we have installed separate gates for the children.

We wish you a wonderful stay in Gausta!
