This weekend, Gausta Skisenter opens for the winter season! This year with a clear focus on minimizing the spread of infection, in order to make your stay as safe and secure a stay as possible. To minimize the risk of infection, the ski resort is only open to season ski pass holders this weekend.
Finally! This weekend, on 12 December, Gausta Skisenter opens for the winter season.
The season opening starts with the lift Fyrieggekspressen and the slopes Fyriegglinken, Brendstaullia, Dalelinken and Fyrieggen (lower part). The opening hours are 09.30 – 16.00 on Saturday and Sunday.
The restaurants Gausta Food Court and Bygget are also open this weekend. See the Gausta app for opening hours.
This weekend we are only welcoming season ski pass holders to use the lift system. The is because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the risk of infection spreading.
– Since we can only open one lift this weekend, it is important that we keep our distance and avoid queues. Therefore, we only wish season pass holders welcome on the slopes this weekend, and we have called in extra staff to handle any queues, says Björn Tverberg, daglig leder at Gausta Skisenter.
