Our hotel has undergone an extensive renovation to ensure that our guests enjoy the best experience with modern facilities and a fresh interior. We host star chef evenings, where renowned chefs prepare exquisite meals for our guests, and our restaurants offer a wide range of delicacies to satisfy every palate. Additionally, we organize exciting events such as Oktoberfest in the fall and après-ski in the winter, allowing our guests to enjoy great food and drinks in a lively atmosphere.
With the ski resort right outside our door, visitors can easily access the slopes. During the summer season, we offer fantastic cycling trails and breathtaking mountain views. Qualifications:
Experience in a leadership role within the hotel or service industry.
Solid experience as a receptionist can compensate for a lack of leadership experience.
Strong computer skills: Comfortable using digital systems, preferably with experience in Visbook.
Service-minded & responsible: You prioritize guest satisfaction and take full responsibility for your tasks.
Independent & solution-oriented: You work effectively both alone and in a team.
High work ethic: You are dedicated and passionate about your job.
Strong communication skills: Fluent in Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language) and English, both written and spoken.
Natural leader: You enjoy motivating and developing others.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and offer information about the destination to ensure our guests have an experience that exceeds expectations.
Manage the daily operations of the reception, including check-in, check-out, phone inquiries, and handling special requests.
Ensure guest communication aligns with Gaustablikk and Gausta’s values.
Foster a good dialogue with other departments, such as booking & marketing, conference services, restaurant, and kitchen.
Lead and develop the reception team.
Plan and oversee shift schedules and staffing.
