About the Position:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to operate an excavator and grooming machine for the maintenance and development of our facility. The position includes both planned work and urgent tasks to ensure optimal conditions in and around the ski resort.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain an excavator for tasks related to terrain shaping, drainage, and construction work.
Operate a grooming machine to prepare ski slopes, ensuring high-quality skiing conditions.
Perform daily checks and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Assist with snow production.
Service and maintain the snowmaking system.
Work closely with the operations department and other relevant teams to ensure efficient and safe task execution.
Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety procedures and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in excavator operation and construction work.
Machine operator certification.
Experience with grooming machines, or a willingness to learn and develop skills in slope grooming.
Driver’s license class B (Class C or S is an advantage).
Machine operator licenses M2 and M3 preferred, but training can be provided.
Experience from mountain or ski resort operations is an advantage.
Technical understanding and the ability to perform basic maintenance on machines.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
